Delivery and Returns Information
This information provides details of delivery methods, periods and charges that apply to any orders made through our website as well as your right to cancel or return an order to us you do not wish to keep or require to be exchanged.
Free UK delivery
Free standard delivery is offered on orders, made through our website, of £75 or over to all mainland UK.
All other orders will be subject to the delivery charges found in section 3.
Delivery Charges and Periods
The methods, charges and periods used to deliver orders from our website are as follows:
Standard delivery to mainland UK for orders below £75 will be charged from a starting price of £3.99. The typical period for this delivery will be 2-3 working days.
Standard delivery to the Channel Islands will begin at £4.99 and will typically take between 3 and 7 working days to be delivered.
Please note we do not currently deliver outside of the UK.
The delivery periods set out in 3.1 are indicative only and cannot be guaranteed, however we make every effort to ensure that your order arrives in good time.
Applicable delivery charges depend not only on the delivery location but also the size and weight of the products ordered.

If delivery is unable to be completed and failure is your fault and you do not collect you package from the delivery service provider in the time limit issued, we may agree to re-deliver the products, however we reserve the right to charge you for the actual costs of re-delivery, even where initial delivery was free of charge.
If re-delivery is not arranged and the failure of initial delivery was your fault, we reserve the right to cancel the order and issue a refund.
An indicative list of the situations where a failure to deliver will be your fault is set out below:
You provide the wrong delivery address;
There is a mistake in the address for delivery that was provided;
There is no save means of leaving the product if in-person receipt is not required;
If in-person receipt is required, there is no person available at the address for delivery to accept delivery and provide a signature.
Cancelling your Order
You have the right to cancel your order for 14 days after the transaction is received.
If your goods have not been dispatched, to cancel the order either email firstname.lastname@example.org or telephone 01538 756644 and we will issue a full refund.
If you have already received your goods, contact us by either phone or email on the details laid out in 5.2 and return the items within 14 days in order to qualify for a full refund.
We will not refund any postage charges if you cancel the order after the 7 working days allowed under the distance Selling Regulations or you only cancel part of the order.
All items returned must be in the condition they were sent to you in, i.e. not worn, altered, or washed, with all tags attached and in the original packaging it was sent in.
Returns and Exchanges
We gladly accept exchanges and refunds within 14 days of receipt, however only refund or exchange non-faulty items in their original condition. Original condition suggests that items have not been worn outside, altered or washed and are in their original packaging with all tags intact.
If you are exchanging an item, please contact us in advance by email or telephone stating why you require an exchange and the alternate product or size you require. This will be dispatched once the original article is received.
If you return an item, we recommend you use recorded or signed delivery as we do not accept any responsibility for returned items that fail to reach us.
If goods are exchanged for a new item that is less than the cost of the original purchase, we will refund the difference via the original payment method.
All refunds are issued to the same payment method as the original order.
If you seek a refund for the returned item, following receipt of the returned good, we will issue a refund within 5 working days.
If you are returning an item as you feel it is of unsatisfactory quality, please contact us beforehand via email or telephone to explain the issue and we will advise you of how to proceed.
In accordance to the Sale of Goods Act (1979), keeping the items for a prolonged period, here defined as 30 days, means you have accepted the goods and therefore lost your right to a refund. After this time, you may still seek a refund however Mountain and Trail Ltd is under no obligation to refund, however may offer a replacement or credit note depending on each individual case.
